1. Are we investing in industrial or residential properties?
Crestbrick's focus is on UK residential property investments. Industrial properties, despite promising higher yields, requires a lot of input from you. Detailed analysis needs to be carried out every month, which is extremely time-consuming for an overseas investor. In comparison, residential properties are regarded as being more stable and easier to manage, meaning they're safer and you'll have more ease of mind.
2. Don’t we have to fly down to see the property?
This isn't strictly necessary. While we do head down to UK to have on-the-ground feel for what is happening, most of the information is available online and via Google Maps. Look at it this way — we do all the work, so you don’t have to!
3. What about tenants? Do we have to fly down to oversee the tenancy?
One of the biggest advantages with UK property investments is that properties are managed by letting companies. These companies will handle everything for you, including sourcing tenants, collecting rents, and any maintenance or servicing that's required. That means you don't need to visit the UK every month to manage your property.
4. But never see, can buy meh?
Most of the projects are still in the building phase – that's partly how we get great discounts for you. Think of it this way, this is similar to new launches in Singapore, plus, we do a lot of research and background checks on developers to make sure we are certain of the project before recommending to our clients.
